About the role
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Mason to construct, install, and repair structures made from wood, concrete, and other materials. The role requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction & Installation: Construct, install, and repair wooden, concrete, and masonry structures. Measure, cut, and shape materials to specifications.
- Project Execution: Read and interpret blueprints to plan layouts for framing, cabinetry, and other structures. Work on projects such as installing doors, windows, and roofing.
- Tool & Equipment Management: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment (PPE). Report safety hazards immediately.
- Additional Duties: Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units for walls, walkways, and structures. Perform inspections and make adjustments to ensure quality work.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent trade certification with at least three years construction experience.
- Proven experience in carpentry and masonry work.
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
