About the role
Shaggy's Diving is hiring a full-time Boat Captain and Dive Professional for a long-term position starting with a 6-month trial period. Based in West Bay, the role involves running charter trips, vessel and equipment maintenance, guiding/teaching dives on Seven Mile Beach and North Wall, and shore-based instruction at various Westside dive centres.
Position Details
- Compensation: $2055 USD/month (45 hours/week) plus tips, with overtime and sales commission available.
- Mandatory Requirements: Active PADI, SDI, or equivalent Instructor rating in good standing; 1,000+ logged dives and 20+ certifications taught; Boat Captain’s license (preferably 5 years of experience, ideally in Caymanian waters); valid driver’s license; age 25+.
- Preferred Qualifications: Excellent English skills, sales background, and social media experience.
