About the role

Stafford Surfaces is seeking an experienced Floor Installer to join our team in Grand Cayman. Responsibilities include:

  • Install Sheet Vinyl, Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), Carpet, Hardwood, Engineered Flooring and Porcelain Tile.
  • Install trims, baseboards and moldings.
  • Read and interpret floor plans and layout drawings.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment.
  • Heat weld sheet flooring. A practical test will be carried out.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 3–4 years of flooring installation experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand detailed floor plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Demonstrable ability to heat weld sheet flooring.
  • Training Certificate
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Police Clearance Certificate required.

Working Conditions

This is an on-site flooring installation position involving work at various locations throughout Grand Cayman. The position requires the physical ability to perform flooring installation duties safely and effectively.
