Mason/Carpenter/Steelman

The successful applicant will be required to perform a broad range of skilled duties essential to both structural and finishing works. These duties will include the installation of exterior partitions and drywall systems, fitting of windows and doors, and construction of sub-roof structures. Additional responsibilities will include roofing and ceiling installations, as well as the construction and assembly of timber frameworks, including rafters, joists, stud walls, and partitions.

The role will also involve installing cabinetry, shelving, and built-in fixtures, as well as applying drywall and installing insulation where required. Masonry duties will include bricklaying, block laying, plastering, and rendering concrete surfaces.

Steelwork responsibilities will encompass positioning and securing steel girders and columns using appropriate lifting equipment; fabricating and assembling structural steel components; bolting and fixing steel frameworks; and installing reinforcing steel (rebar) for concrete works.

The successful applicant may also be required to undertake other related duties within the scope of the trade of Mason/Carpenter/Steelman, as necessary to meet project requirements and ensure the successful completion of assigned works.
