Pipe Fitter

We require an experienced Pipe Fitter with knowledge of piping systems and NFPA 13 codes with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Key Responsibilities include

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine pipe layout and system requirements.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to the required shapes and sizes.
• Assemble and install piping systems, including valves, fittings and supports.
• Repair and maintain existing piping systems and replace defective components.
• Use hand and power tools, welding and brazing equipment as required.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations, building codes and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics and scale drawings according to specifications.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials and installation techniques, including NFPA 13 codes.
• Experience with welding, threading and pipe fabrication.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors and in confined spaces, with the ability to lift 50 lb or more.
• Ability to work independently with no supervision.
