KS1 Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)

Footsteps School is seeking an excellent, enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent recognised qualification or degree First Aid background or qualifications

Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience working in a primary school Experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs Experience delivering in-school counselling sessions to support children's wellbeing Experience supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and pastoral needs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for KS1 and 2 Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing Ability to assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively Enthusiasm for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Salary: KYD$24,000-KYD$36,000 per annum - PRO RATA
